Delete Your Account

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

1. Open the Aro Customer App
2. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account
3. Confirm your request
4. Your account will be deactivated and your personal information anonymised immediately

Option 2: Contact Support

• Email: info@itsaro.com
• Subject: "Request Account Deletion"
• Include your account email address
• We will process your request within 5 business days

The following personal information is anonymised immediately upon deletion:

• Name, first name, last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Address, city, country, location
• Profile image
• Password hash
• Password reset and OTP tokens

Tokens and sessions:

• All active sessions are revoked — you will be logged out of all devices
• Device tokens for push notifications are permanently deleted
• Password reset and OTP tokens are invalidated

Account status:

• Your account is marked as deleted and you will no longer be able to log in
• All authenticated API endpoints will reject requests from your account

The following data is retained after deletion for operational and compliance purposes:

• Booking and transaction history — All booking records, facility bookings, appointments, and payment transaction records are retained so studios can manage operations and verify historical transactions.
• Studio records and audit logs — Your associations with studios (bookings, memberships, class requests, refund requests) and audit logs are retained.
• Notification history — Notification inbox records and delivery history are retained for system audit purposes.

• Self-Service (via App): Anonymisation and token revocation occur within seconds. Your account is immediately inaccessible.
• Email Request: Processed within 5 business days.
